Green Swiecie Project Abstract
Doosan Skoda Power, the subsidiary company of the Doosan Group, an experienced supplier of modern technologies and services for the energy sector, won the supply contract for a steam turbine and generator with maximum 88 MW power output for the Polish company Mondi Świecie S. A. The turbine set is part of one of the key development projects of Mondi Świecie S.A. and will generate electricity and process steam for one of the biggest paper mills in Poland. With regard to the utilisation of biomass (waste wood and paper waste) as fuel, we will be one of the largest producers of energy from biomass in the region of Poland. In addition to the steam turbine and generator, Doosan Škoda Power will also ensure other subdeliveries such as the turbine control system and condenser, and will ensure a turnkey installation including commissioning, which is planned in the second half of 2015.
