Arctic LNG 2 Project Abstract
Russia’s largest independent natural gas producer and LNG operator, Novatek signed a deal with Italy’s Nuovo Pignone for the equipment supply for its Arctic LNG 2 project. Under the deal, Nuovo Pignone, which is part of Baker Hughes, a GE company, will supply gas turbine compressors and gas turbine generators for the three liquefaction trains for the Arctic LNG 2 project. Leonid Mikhelson, Novatek’s head noted the partnership continues on the cooperation on the giant Yamal LNG project that the Nuovo Pignone supplied gas turbine compressors for.
